Where Christmas Feels Like Home

This Christmas we are your home for festive cheer. We’re bringing all the sparkle, all the fun and all the feels. Whether it’s a work’s do, a catch-up with mates or a place to come and watch the football, our pub is where Christmas truly feels like home!

A traditional family-friendly pub

The Garricks Head is a fantastic pub right at the heart of the Flixton community in Trafford. Our stunning Tudor-style pub has stood proudly in Greater Manchester since 1830 and is named after famous 18th Century actor David Garrick! It’s the perfect place to sit back, relax and enjoy your favourite drinks whatever the occasion!

SERIOUSLY GOOD PUB FOOD

There’s nothing quite like the great British pub when it comes to food, and that’s what we’re all about. A place where proper pub classics meet indulgent flavours, and irresistible bar snacks pair perfectly with our drinks. With traditional family favourites, small plates to keep the little ones happy and generous sharers to enjoy between friends, our menus are bursting with flavour and promises to satisfy any craving.

Well… what a day that was! Our big light switch-on was absolutely magical. The kids’ faces watching Santa switch the lights on were priceless. A huge thank you to all our amazing stalls – you were brilliant. Massive shoutout to Stretford Band for coming along and filling the place with festive cheer. Our singers, Julie Anne Baker Graham and Karen James , were incredible – thank you both for sharing your talents. And a big thanks to Yan Taylor for filming, taking photos all day, and stepping in as DJ for the afternoon. Liam Coyne smashed the night-time entertainment as always, and the fight… WOW! What an atmosphere from start to finish. To all my friends, family, and our wonderful customers old and new – thank you. Your support means everything. And what can I say about my team? You smashed it, as always. You worked your butts off and I’m so, so proud of every one of you. Finally, my two besties Gillian Campbell and Maz– you’ve been part of the planning from start to finish. I couldn’t have done any of this without you both. All in aid of Macmillen An absolutely fantastic day. Roll on the next one! 🎄✨
